Welcome to Informed Early Years. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website, e-learning platform, and services. By accessing this website and our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website or services.

1. Definitions
Company: This Site is owned and operated by Carly Blackburn, trading as Informed Early Years, located at Railway Road, West Yorkshire, BD10 9RJ. User: Any individual or entity accessing or using the website, e-learning platform, or services provided by Informed Early Years. Website: www.informedearlyyears.co.uk and any sub-domains of this site unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions. Services: Includes face-to-face training, e-learning courses, consultancy, and any other services provided by Informed Early Years.

 

2. General Terms
By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.
 

3. Terms of Use for E-learning
Access and Use: Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our e-learning materials for personal or professional development. Content Ownership: All e-learning content, including videos, text, graphics, and other materials, are owned by Informed Early Years and are protected by copyright laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit permission. User Conduct: Users must not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the e-learning platform, including hacking, spamming, or uploading malicious software.

 

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All content provided in face-to-face training, online courses, and consultancy services is the intellectual property of Informed Early Years. This includes, but is not limited to, training materials, videos, presentations, and written content. Users are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent from Informed Early Years. Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Invoices: For services invoiced, payment terms are 30 days from the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest and additional charges.

 

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a 100% refund. Bookings made within 48 hours or less before the date of service will receive 0% refund but can be rescheduled. No refunds will be issued after training, courses, or consultancy services have taken place.

 

7. Governing Law
For services delivered within the UK, this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. For services delivered internationally, this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country where the services are provided, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country as specified above.

 

8. Limitation of Liability
Informed Early Years shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by the Customer as a result of the services provided, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the Service Provider.
The Customer acknowledges that the Service Provider does not control how the information provided during the services is used and is not responsible for any actions taken by the Customer based on this information.

 

9. Data Protection and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

 

10. Electronic Communications and Electronic Signatures
You acknowledge and agree that you will be bound by any affirmation, acceptance, or agreement that is transmitted through our Site, including but not limited to any consent you provide to receive communications from us. You further acknowledge and agree that when you click on or tick “I agree”, “I consent”, or other similarly worded click or tick options by electronic means, using an electronic device such as your mobile phone, tablet, desktop, laptop or any other device capable of allowing you to click or tick, your agreement and/or consent will be legally binding and enforceable and will be deemed to be as effective as if you had written your signature by hand.

We always appreciate interaction on our social media channels and feedback about our Site, products and services, as it helps us to improve our Site and our products and services. Through the use of our Site, you may be invited to submit a review, and you can also comment on our blog or other parts of our Site or interact with us via our social media channels.
Where you do decide to submit such feedback or comments, you: Warrant that you are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property and any other rights in any content provided (or have the right to use that content with appropriate consents and permissions); Give us permission to post or otherwise use that feedback on our social media or other channels;

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. For services delivered internationally, this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country where the services are provided, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties. Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country as specified above.

 

20. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any documents expressly referred to in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or arrangements between you and us, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of these Terms.

 

21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

 

22. Waiver
No waiver by us of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of us to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
